• SERVICING AND INSPECTIONS 

Our servicing and inspections are tailored to your needs. We always recommend following engine manufactures guidelines and the use of OEM parts to guarantee your engine run at optimum performance.

 

Engine inspections are offered on various levels which are listed below:

 

Engine survey -

This is a free service to new clients. It is a non intrusive visual inspection of your engine and connected components. We will also carry out a running parameter check including, oil, fuel and crankcase pressures. Temperature checks of exhaust, lube oil and cooling systems. The aim is to identify any potential issues and you will receive a report and recommended repairs or actions. The recommendations are non compulsory and have zero commit to carry out the recommended repairs. 

 

Yearly inspections -

Visual inspection of fuel system,

Cooling system,

Lubrication system,

Drive components,

Exhaust and induction system,

Ancillary components.

Adjustment of inlet and exhaust valves.

Running parameter checks including, oil, fuel and crankcase pressures. Temperature checks of exhaust,

lube oil and cooling systems.

 

Two yearly inspections -

Visual inspection of fuel system,

Cooling system,

Lubrication system,

Drive components,

Exhaust and induction system,

Ancillary components.

Adjustment of inlet and exhaust valves.

Running parameter checks including, oil, fuel and crankcase pressures. Temperature checks of exhaust, lube oil and cooling systems.

Cylinder compression test.

Bore scope inspection of cylinder bores.

Inspection of turbo chargers/blowers.

Replacement of thermostats.

Inspection of sea water anodes.

Measurement of crankshaft end float.

 

Engine strip and inspect -

Full strip down of engine and assessment of all internal critical components which include but not limited to, cylinder head and associated components, camshaft and drive gear, piston and connecting rods, crankshaft, timing gears, pressure testing of cylinder heads, block and cooling components.

 

All inspection come with a complete report outlining engine condition, general perforce and issue found with recommended repairs.

 

• REPAIRS AND FAULT DIAGNOSTICS

We offer full repair and RCAs on all faults you may be encountering. All repairs come with detailed repair reports for your records.

 

• ENGINE OVERHAULS

Unfortunately all engine components have a shelf life. Component wear is unavoidable, and if not addressed, catastrophic engine failure is only a revolution away. All manufactures have there own engine inspection and overhaul guidelines based on hours ran and/or years in service.

 

• ENGINE REPLACEMENTS/UPGRADES

Depending on the age and condition of your engine, it is sometimes more cost effective to replace your engine for an off the shelf alternative. At times this is an easy enough process but we can assist with any additional work each step of the way.
